About CW Genealogy
My own journey into genealogy began in 2004 when I started to research my family tree while on maternity leave with my first child. What started as a personal project quickly became a passion.
After returning to work, I missed the challenge and satisfaction of family history research, so I began helping colleagues, then other members of my family, and eventually friends of colleagues. Over time, this grew into CW Genealogy.
With over 20 years' experience researching family histories, I enjoy solving difficult research problems and uncovering the stories hidden within historical records.
Flexible Genealogy Research Services
Every family history is different, which is why I offer flexible options to suit your needs.
I can work on a fixed-scope basis, giving you clear expectations and costs from the beginning, or I can research on an hourly basis for more open-ended projects. Many clients start with a package and choose to continue once we uncover more about their ancestors.
Genealogy depends on the survival and availability of historical records, so some family lines may be traced further than others. However, accuracy, evidence and reliable sources are always prioritised over guesswork.
