I’m an independent genealogist with over 20 years’ experience researching family history using mostly UK records. I specialise in careful, evidence-based research.
ABOUT CW GENEALOGY
I started researching my own family tree after losing my father and while on maternity leave with my first child in 2004. I went back to work but missed the challenge of researching so I started researching for colleagues, other members of my own family, then friends of colleagues, and it grew from there.
I can work on a fixed-scope basis, so expectations and costs are clear from the start, or I can go back as far as records allow based on an hourly rate, or you can start with a package and switch later.
Genealogy depends on record survival, so some lines may go back further than others, but accuracy and evidence are always prioritised over guesswork.
